Georgian term or phrase: ღვინოში ჩაწოლით დასრულდა
The section is talking about a Christmas სუფრა. Everyone starts the meal drinking ლიმონათი, but by the end they are all completely drunk on wine. I just can't understand what is implied by ღვინოში ჩაწოლით. Does it literally mean simply "go to bed after drinking lots of wine"? Or is it an image like "drowning in wine" or "swimming in wine"?

As always, thanks in advance.

As for more specific image, it is "bathing/swimming in wine".

Asker: Thank you. Is it a more specific image, like "drowning in wine" or "swimming in wine"? Or just literally "drinking lots of wine?"
