Georgian term or phrase: ვცდილობ, ნაციონალურ პატივმოყვარეობაზე მოვიღიტინო
Again, I'm not really sure if this is an idiom or slang. It doesn't get any hits on Google.

The person who says it is a Georgian talking to a non-Georgian about Georgian food and trying to be enthusiastic about it, even though she feels ambivalent.

I guess მოვიღიტინო is literally "to tickle oneself".

So does the phrase mean something like "I try to summon up a sense of national pride?"

Thanks in advance.

English translation:I'm trying to arouse my national pride
Explanation:
The person in question says, word-for-word: ''I'm trying to tickle my national pride/ambition/vanity''. That would mean that, even though they aren't crazy about the Georgian cuisine, they're still trying to be proud about it, albeit in a forced way.
