Les plastiques, les papiers, les fibres textiles ou encore les bois : tout ce qui est manufacturé peut être teinté dans la masse. Pour cela, on ajoute des pigments aux matériaux au cours du processus de fabrication du produit. Il en résulte une coloration très forte, quasiment indélébile, surtout si l’on adjoint un stabilisateur dans les pigments. Cette façon de faire se distingue de la teinte en surface. Là, on passe une ou plusieurs couches de pigments sur le produit en voie d’être fini. |
