Para un libro de niños sobre castillos y armaduras, gracias, entiendo que es parte de la armadura, pero no encuentro el equivalente en castellano.

Guillaume lui explique qu’elle pèse plus de vingt kilos et que chaque pièce a une valeur symbolique :
