Hallo!

Übersetze gerade eine Broschüre für einen Winzer.

Bei der Beschreibung des Buketts eines Champagners heißt es:

"On trouve des notes printanières d'agrumes frais (*plus citronnier que citron*) associées à des notes minérales et presque fumées."

Citronnier ist für mich der Zitronenbaum, citron dagegen die Frucht.

Auf Deutsch klingt

"eher Zitronenbaum als Zitrone"

als Zusatz in der Klammer aber nicht so besonders. Außerdem bezieht sich im Französischen ja beides auf "agrumes frais". Ein Zitronenbaum ist ja aber keine Frucht. Von daher ist der Ausgangstext für mich schon nicht besonders glücklich formuliert. Oder entgeht mir da etwas? Was meint ihr? Wie würdet ihr das lösen?

Es geht um die Duft der Bäume (der Blumen, der Essenzen, und des Holz der Bäume). Ich errinere an das Lied (Mignon von Goethe): "Kennst du das Land wo die Zitronen blühn?". Ich denke, dass Ihre Übersetzung richtig ist.

Explanation:
Citronné?

Da dort nicht "plutôt ... que" (eher ... als) , sondern "plus ... que" steht (der Vergleich zwischen citronnier und citron ist nicht wirklich möglich), könnte der Verfasser dieser Beschreibung vielleicht auch "citronné" gemeint haben. In diesem Fall klingt es für mich nach "zitroniger".
