Ich finde den vorhergehenden Vorschlag gut, würde aber gerne noch eine andere (meiner Meinung nach) mögliche Option vorschlagen:
"potenzieren" im Sinne von "sich verstärken/verschlimmern".

Dann würde der Begriff "Unzulänglichkeiten" (wie von einem User vorgeschlagen) oder "Mängel" als Übersetzung für "failles" besser passen:
die Unzulänglichkeiten/Mängel des Systems potenzieren sich od. werden/dürften sich potenziert haben zum Zeitpunkt...
