to avoid extinction of the X-rays Explanation: "Extinction" is a suitably "technical" term (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extinction_coefficient), but I would omit "propagation" as unnecessary: how else are X-rays going to get from A to B if not by propagation? |
