Document about re-desiging a website to make it appeal to a wider audience. I have not come across 'différenciateur'
used as an adjective and am looking for the right word to translate it. Merely saying 'different' seems inadequate here, although that is what it means... any suggestions?

Le challenge pour X réside dans la conception de sites différenciateurs incitant les internautes à des actions telles que : « demande de documentation », « inscription à des newsletter », « acte d’achat », etc.

Well, in the end I went with 'highly original' - which the client appears to have accepted as an accurate rendition. Most of the other answers were helpful also, it was certainly about standing out and being distinctive - I chose this answer because it actually contained the 'buzz' word I think the text was asking for.

Explanation:
My standard of French is not good enough to presume to argue with our native answerers, but I initially read this completely differently; is there anything in my idea?

I thought it meant sites that make OUR COMPANY or PRODUCT stand out from the others; i.e., not the site itself, but the way it brandishes our wares, seeking to make them stand out from all the others.
Surely this would explain the otherwise curious use of 'différenciateurs'?

OK, it more or less comes down to the same thing, but I think it might lead to another way of expressing it in English.
