sign indicating

Explanation:
No sign indicating (or indicative of) sepsis? I'm not sure, hence the confidence level, but that's how I read it.

No sign that the patient needs referral for sepsis

Explanation:
Pas besoin d'orienter le patient vers le service qui prend en charge les cas de sepsis (souvent le service de soins intensifs).

neutral  Stuart and Aida Nelson: I don't think a patient would need a referral for sepsis. Sepsis is normally a life-threatening condition. If you have sepsis you have to be treated immediately.

disagree  Drmanu49: Not in this case the patient is already hospitalized. And as mentioned above If you have sepsis you have to be treated immediately.//Hospitalisation form is mentioned.

-> I don't see a mention of the patient being in a hospital. For all we know, the patient could be referred from a clinic (centre de soins, infirmerie, dispensaire ou autre).

Reference: difference between "sign" and "symptom"

Reference information:
Although not strictly applied, there is a difference between a "sign" and a "symptom":
- sign = an indication that can be observed objectively
- symptom = an indication that is described by the patient.
In a professional context, I suggest the difference be adhered to and reflected in the translation.
