Hi,

I am having problems understanding this sentence in an article I am translating.
"Le sacrifice musculaire n'entraine pas de limitation fonctionnelle; néanmoins à distance des adhérences aux tendons extenseurs peuvent être responsables de deformations du pied"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  -> On voit que vous n'êtes pas familier des termes médicaux. A distance ici veut dire après la chirurgie donc dans le temps.
