Of course "there are multiple entries online for star in relation to Torx", if you buy a set of key heads for your electric screwdriver, the set will contain a variety of different shapes! The point about local, colloquial pet names for things is that they don't necessarily have direct and precise equivalents in other languages; so, trying to translate them can be a source of confusion.

Hi BD, there are multiple entries online for star in relation to Torx and we are discussing what the translation should be, even if it shouldn't mention "keys". Personally, I would follow the original format, where the author felt a need to give an explanation, for which there is surely a translation (see Wiki link)

The "dent de souris" is in brackets as a colloquial supplement to the correct name, which is "Torx". This sort of thing can (and should) be safely omitted if there is no similar colloquial name in the target language. The danger with such colloquial names is that they are imprecise. Note that this has led Julie to confuse Torx keys with star keys.

the original author obviously wanted to provide an explanation. It is still our job to translate Algerian French and other variations.

Quick look and think that dent de souris is a term used mainly in Algeria. Don`t think you would get very far asking for mouse teeth keys in UK.

If you look at the term in French, in google IMAGES, they look like star keys to me
