I've looked and looked and can't find the technical term for this.

Explanation:
This does not appear to be a term for the mare in question, but rather a bureaucratic procedure.

neutral  writeaway: saw that too. am curious to see what an expert in the field has to say. What are the 'revues' referring to in any case?
1 hr
-> Yes, it is a curious term to use, but I do believe it relates to the procedure. Perhaps the need to review the certificates submitted in order to certify which stallion is the sire.

neutral  Bashiqa: Daughter has just confirmed that you do have to indicate that the mare has beeen seen by more than one stallion, but doesn't think there is a specific term.

neutral  Daryo: thinking of it "revue" means "re+vue" i.e. the mare has beeen seen by more than one stallion

-> I'd considered that interpretation, but thought it would have been plural if so. However, Alison's reference comment confirms your interpretation. The term in English is, I believe, "covered", rather than "seen".
