French term or phrase: respirante
In a list of device instructions, the status LED indicator "La LED frontale 1 bleue respirante indique qu'elle est allumée."
It's not fixe or clignotante because those are also used in the list of indicators.
I thought perhaps pulsing?

Thanks, while I think there is a case for breathing, it just sounds too odd to my ear unless it's for something where the light has to be organic, or restful or something - which I don't think is the case here, it's just another status of the LED. Thanks all!

neutral  Daryo: yes but the catch is the frequency / the rhythm of these"pulsations" - a seizure inducing flashing light is also "pulsating"!

breathing

Explanation:
this term is/was a rather literal translation from EN in the first place.

this type of "pulsating light" has really a pattern of increasing and decreasing luminosity that reminds of the rhythm of breathing.

The first time I saw this as an option on a smartphone I was completely puzzled - until I tried the option and realised that this "breathing light" really gives the impression of the rhythm of breathing.
