French term or phrase: agent de contrôle
In a contract between a securitisation pool company and a debt collection agency, they describe the latter as an "agent de contrôle" so I gather that the latter's role in the contract is supervisory but I am not sure. Is there an accepted definition in this context for this term? Thank you in advance.

Credit controller Job Information | National Careers Service
As ***a credit controller or debt collection agent**, you would be responsible for recovering unpaid money from businesses or individuals.
You could work for a third party collection agency or debt purchasing company employed to collect debts from businesses (known as commercial collection) or individuals (consumer collection). Alternatively, you could be a credit controller in a company's finance or credit department, chasing late payments from suppliers and customers.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, Cristina, but I think that credit controller refers to a person rather than a huge company.

Note to reference poster
Asker: Thanks, SafeTex, I saw the references already on the site but they didn't seem to fit because they refer (I believe) to individuals rather than to a big company that is a debt collection agency but is acting as an "agent de contrôle" for this particular contract. I thought there might be something more specific I could use.
