What is meant by "selon une appréciation économique"? Is this some kind of economic appraisal or appreciation in value?

disagree  joehlindsay: I have to disagree, as in my answer, 'economic appraisal' is used in cost-benefit analysis, this is about and investment fund. It should definitely be 'valuation'. That is the term invariably used in capital markets.

Appreciation in this sense just means establishing a price or value in finance. To get a sense of its use, read the Wikipedia and investopedia entries for "valuation".

The French adjective 'économique' is superfluous in English. You can just put valuation.

There are synonyms for 'valuation' in english: "assessment, appraisal, etc.", but the term 'valuation' is always used in professional finance relating to to investment instruments.
