French term or phrase: bénéfice fiscal tel qu'il est imposé au taux de droit commun
I think you can tell that finance is not my speciality, but I have this finance-heavy section plonked in the middle of my text....

This is from the section describing the formula according to which the special participation fund for profit sharing is calculated.

I think my main problem is "imposé", which to my non-expert eye could mean "set" or "taxed"...

neutral  Paul Sadur: I would be avoid the expression "common law," which in English refers to Anglo-Saxon "droit coutumier" or "jus commune" as distinct from Roman law or civil law.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your answer - despite the detail about the "tax benefit" thing, the rest of your answer did tell me what I wanted to know...so thanks anyway!

disagree  rkillings: It's taxable profit, not "tax benefit"! But the rest is good (statutory tax rate).

-> You're absolutely right. I was led astray by the thought that it's an employee benefit scheme, hence my incorrect use of 'benefit'. 'Bénéfice fiscal' is indeed 'taxable profit'. Where do I change my answer?!?
