French term or phrase: Taquin
Bonjour All!

Does anybody know if there's a word for 'Taquin' in English? I know it's one of those puzzles made up of sliding squares you can move around to make an image (one square is free for the tiles to slide into). But apart from 'sliding tile puzzle', I'm not coming up with any ideas of how to say it!!

agree  Jenn Mercer: I did not see "boss puzzle" but the most common names were either "fifteen puzzle" or "sliding number puzzle"

Asker: Actually, I provided the same definition in my question. What I need is a nice, neat way to name this game in English. I don't think it could be marketed using the name you suggested, as it's a bit long - thanks, though!!
