spawned Explanation: Well, in this case, the French have basically "nicked" the English term "spawned" used in gaming. "Spawn" is basically a synonym for "appear", "pop up" or "materialise" and is often used in RPG and FPS games to refer to weapons, power-ups, NPCs (non-player characters) and other goodies that normally spawn or appear in specific locations. Once you've collected a weapon, etc., it takes a while before that same weapon spawns or appears again in the same place. Hope that makes sense! |
