French term or phrase: Poids des clients les plus importants
Not much context as I'm doing the financial part of the text but can I put " weight of the most important clients"? This seems a bit odd to me.
TIA

English translation:Importance of the largest customers
Explanation:
One must guess at the context. However, "les clients les plus importants" means "the best or largest customers" depending on the multiple meanings of "important". Then, "poids" refers to the relative weight of these customers, best translated (ironically) by "importance".

The weight/importance of the biggest clients

Explanation:
important (français) = big (English)

"Weight" if the text considers the relative effect of the clients in relation to the whole operation and how it affects the operation (the business), "importance" when its simply the overall, general importance those clients have (in the overall sales, for example).

share of the biggest clients

Explanation:
If it is a financial text, I would believe "share" is a good option, especially if you are given the percentage of the c.a. per client afterwards.

key client data

Explanation:
I think what they want to say is here is the data concerning our biggest clients and from that you can deduce their relative importance. As a title though, you're right, it sounds strange, so probably best to simplify.

agree  writeaway: only if one wants the actual business jargon-"les clients les plus importants" would certainly be 'key customers' poids is often 'influence'-so influence of key customers.
