French term or phrase: Purges de découpes
This is from a contract regarding biomass fuels for a power plant in Europe which must be provided according to the P100 standard.

In Class C below (Categorie C), you will see "Purges de découpes". I'm not sure what the translation for this regarding Biomass Fuel is. I have provided a lot of context so that you can see the different classes of Biomass Fuel that are included in this document. Any help with this term would be appreciated.

English translation:roadside waste from commercial logging
Explanation:
Purges de découpes commerciales bord de route --> roadside waste from commercial logging
In the course of logging operations, the non-marketable parts of the tree (tops, shattered logs, large branches...) are piled up at the logging road side for later removal. This waste constitutes a significant part of the biomass used in power plants (for example): https://www.canadianbiomassmagazine.ca/combustion/filling-th...

clearance of logging residue

Explanation:
Often 25 percent to 45 percent of the trees’ biomass is left on site as timber harvest residue (also called logging residue)
If whole-tree extraction is used, the residues are available free of charge at the roadside
https://articles.extension.org/pages/71019/biomass-utilizati...

The aim of this case study was to clarify the productivity and cost of a system based on bundling logging residues at the roadside landing with the forwarder-mounted logging residue bundler.
