Hello,

"Son boulot à lui (le marin), c’est de faire ce mouvement avec l’aviron, un va et vient, qui effraie la sardine et la refoule. Il refoule le poisson vers le fond de l’anse du filet de façon à ce que la sardine maille."


I'm not sure how to translate this, is it "purse", or "loop", or something else..

Je retourne à la planche, le plonge dans le filet avec ma main gauche, le lâche et ferme l'anse du filet avec ma main droite.
