French term or phrase: pour éviter sur
I'm struggling with the parsing of this sentence, which is from a document relating to securitisation vehicles. Any help is much appreciated.

La loi prévoit en outre une protection particulière en faveur de l’OT pour éviter sur les encaissements des créances qui lui ont été cédées, en permettant la mise en place de droit spécifiques de l’OT sur le compte d’encaissement du recouvreur.

Thank you.

to evade

Explanation:
This one's about debt collection letters from creditors to borrowers. The words 'pour éviter sur' mean 'to evade' or 'to go away from'.

Would anyone be able to explain what (l'OT) is?

"sur les encaissements" is about the receipts (of financial letters)
"sur le compte d'encaissement du recouvreur" is about the account of receipts from the money retrieval.

"l'OT" is 'organisme de titration' which would refer to a 'security organisation',and also could be an insurance firm.

Example sentence(s):
  • The law foresees, moreover, particular protection in favour of (OT?) in order to evade debt letters and their receipts which have ceased while permitting the specific rights of the (OT) about the account of receipts from the recovery of money owed.
  • La loi prévoit en outre une protection particulière en faveur de l'OT pour éviter sur les encaissements des créances qui lui ont cédées, en permettant la mise en place de droit spécifiques de l'OT sur le compte d'encaissement du recouvreur.

disagree  Tony M: 'evade' cannot be used in this way in such a context; about the only time it comes up is in things like 'tax evasion'! And the rest of the wording of your suggestion is just a non-sense in EN. Just one point of many: 'cédées' is not 'ceased' (= 'cessées)!

  -> OK 'les créances qui lui ont étées cédées' refers to the debt collection letters which have been authorized to him or her. Tax evasion is one possibility, as, similarly, is evasion of debt invoices another possibility. '

disagree  AllegroTrans: " in order to evade debt letters and their receipts which have ceased while permitting the specific rights of the (OT) about the account of receipts from the recovery of money owed" is simply100% nonsense and "evade" doesn't work in any case
