processing in an environmental chamber Explanation: Please see glossary entries for 'étuve', in particular my own earlier question. This is either part of the test / quality assurance procedure — the cards' performance will be tested before and after being heated up in a telmperature-controlled chamber. Or else it is a kind of 'curing' process as part of the production chain, presumably designed to reveal heat-sensitive faults that might otherwise manifest later in service. |
