En France, il existe un système de "marge arrière" ou "marge retour". C'est à dire que la grande surface ou le superstore de vente de produits culturels (type Fnac ou Virgin) achète au prix éditeur le DVD (hors TVA, hors TSA) puis il le vend au consommateur à un prix quasi unique.
