Ik weet wat het is, een groep(je) (oude) huizen, boerderijen, soms een kerk, kapel, en/of andere gebouwen op enige afstand van een Frans dorp. Meestal liggen er meerdere 'hameaux' rond zo'n dorp. De huizengroep heeft een naam, maar de huizen hebben er geen nummer, er zijn geen straatnamen. Mijn vraag is hoe jullie dat zouden vertalen, of misschien niet vertalen, maar omschrijven.
