explantion: cross reference database based on a unique entity number in Belgium
Explanation:
The literal translation is used by the BE governent Cross Point Bank - I usually use the term and explain in a footnote as that is rather nonsensical in English

Post grading:

Pierre,

The explanation I gave you stands.

The term I gave you is one that two of the Belgian agencies I work with have confirmed is the one I should use (despite the fact I do not like it) because it the official term used by the BE government.

If there is another official term in use I am not aware of it for sure but can tell you I have also come across

Enterprise Crossroads Bank
Central Entity Database

and other permutations thereof.

Hope this helps

Final: Crossroads Bank for Enterprises - term actually came from a colleague and moderator has been asked to allocate points accordingly.
