equalized Explanation: I believe you are correct. Looking at Google hits of the term, the non-technical hits definitely mean "equalized" e.g. equalizing social security payments. If you compare the two web references below, you can also find parallel usage of tasokorjattu and equalized in the context of photographic distortion compensation.
