construction materials store with customer pickup and delivery options Explanation: This is a tough one. In my neck of the woods, we would just talk about a hardware store, lumber yard, construction materials supplier, or something similar. To differentiate the two ways to get the goods, we would say something about how customers can either pick up materials themselves or have them delivered--we wouldn't turn the two delivery options into adjectival descriptions of the type of store. The option to pick up materials yourself is the default assumption. |

retail outlet Explanation: Would this then be a more neutral (and general) option, without connotations of wholesale? Hardware store would be the more common name here in Australia, where people can go and buy what they want or arrange delivery as well. |
