sustainable population reduction Explanation: In English you don't necessarily always want concepts like this (containing 3+ words) used in this way, with more than one noun.. usually I guess it would be more like: "bla bla reduces the population sustainably bla bla" (or whatever form/tense the verb reduce needs to be in) Anyway, the key terms used in my opinion being "sustainable" for kestävä, "population" for kanta and "reduce" for verottaa. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 mins (2005-12-15 13:30:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- You can also use "control", if you can work that in to the context better than the "reduction", so "sustainable population control" could be an option. |
