What is a pocket flap for in swimsuit for children? Could anyone give me a picture for this? Many thanks.

Here is the context:

When replacing floats, ensure floats are securely enclosed in the pockets and the pocket flaps are closed over the floats.

Explanation:
You have your pocket. Then at the top there is a little flap down - think of an envelope - with a button on it to secure it. presumably the float inserts in the pocket and is kept in by the flap being buttoned down. See pic here:
