Unfortunately (?) yes, I will use this "catwalking", though I entirely agree with those who claim that we need to defend the proper use of English... But on the other hand languages are alive, aren't they? It's healthy to change and develop. Don't know, delicate subject... Time will tell. And thank you all very much!!

I can see no official references to 'catwalking' in any of my dictionaries.
Obviously, there is the noun 'catwalk'. However, my Collins, Oxford and Merriam Webster say 'NO' - no verb.

It's up to you do decide if you can and should use this expression now, or whether it's OK to use it before it is officially recognized. You decide.

Asker: Ha ha ha ha!

Asker: This looks like the kind of expression that people start using and then, after a few years, it is recognized by the "authorities". Thanks anyway"

agree  Magala: Another noun that is being used as a verb. The disease is spreading so keep defending the proper use of English ;-)

agree  Anna Quail: I don't like the word "catwalking" at all, and as you say, it is a noun and not a verb in reliable dictionaries. I think your solution is much more elegant.
