here's the answer from the client: ' "Pallet talks" means having short meeting on the shop floor and often the workers sit on a pallet.' This is the exact quote, probably meant to be in the plural. You were guessing correctly with almost no context, but that often happens, same here. Once again, thanks for thinking along.

it can't be ruled out as a logistics company needs pallets, so they may have something to do with that newsletter. You could put it on as an answer, why not? Thanks for thinking along, but I can't award points for discussion entries, unfortunately.

Apparently, Pallet Talk is a newsletter from the National Wooden Pallet and Container Industry. I don't know if it's the same one they are talking about here but it makes my guess seem reasonable...

These are two examples of the "many communication channels available".

Pallet talks could be some kind of informal communications where somebody literally stands on a pallet and tells people what is going on. Or it could just be an internal name for some form of communications - a newsletter or in-house magazine perhaps? I think you need to ask the customer about this one.

thanks. I first had to suppose they belong to the same system that's why the Q includes both. Could be separate. The company is in logistics actually.

The pallet talks and monitors are two separate things. The monitors are terminals to access the intranet. I have no idea what a pallet talk is but what does the company do/make? Pallet talk could be an internal usage or phrase.
