type 2 trip Explanation: "Type 2 fun" is a common expression especially among endurance sports enthusiasts. I often use it as an ultra/OCR runner and sports journalist myself. In a nutshell it's fun talking about it over a pint afterwards but you felt miserable doing it. "Type two trip" makes an alliteration too. https://www.rei.com/blog/climb/fun-scale Someone there used this expression in a comment: "Yeah…I took a break from Type 2 bikepacking to do a nice Type 1 bicycle tour in Ohio this year.
