Although it's not entirely necessary to punctuate it (except to try and indicate how they spoke it), I would suggest the above as one way to alter it slightly to make it more understandable. They key thing to note is that this is NOT a list of DIFFERENT things; all these things relate to the SAME process. I would probably express it thus: colour images are recorded as a three-colour separation consisting of three master positives recorded in the form of black-&-white silver-halide images |
