English language (monolingual) [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / cold, pain relief
English term or phrase: Cool burst
PE Multi-Symptom Cold No-Drowsy Film Coated White Cool Burst Caplets

My questions are:

How it should be understood?
Is there any differences between "Cool Burst" and "Cool Blast" which appears in the following phrase: DAY TIME COLD MULTI-SYMPTOM COOL BLAST (tylenol multi symptom cool blast daytime) liquid

Could anybody help explain it to me? Your help will be highly appreciated.

feeling of relief/killing of cold
Explanation:
not really sure from your question what exactly you are looking for but I assume it's the meaning of these phrases?

I agree with medeast in discussion about the sensation of the caplets or, in other words, the feeling of relief brought by this medicine.

"Blast" is a bit stronger in intensity than "burst" as a word. You blast for exploding/dynamiting and burst a balloon so wordplay is involved here. Advertising copy in other words often uses evocative language

Both words basically mean also mean the cold/fever or other ailment the medication is targeting will be "blasted" or burst" away, that is, destroyed or killed off.

Of course it could b true about trademarks as well but I think it is more to do with the meaning of the words chosen.

as you can see both words are similar in meaning so "cool burst/cool blast" (with "blast" stronger) are both explosions of coolness bringing relief to the sufferer and killing off the illness/fever etc.

From what I can gather 'Cool Burst' is a registered trademark but the same product is marketed by other companies which use 'cool blast' on the label.
