English term or phrase: compromise nothing
There is this manufacturer of smaller mechanical parts that wants to emphasise the fact that although his products are more expensive, the quality offered is worth it. He wants to use a motto that says "Compromise nothing", along with "choose quality". My advice to him was that it would be more understandable if it sounded "Make compromise on nothing", or at least "Compromise on nothing", as the verb "compromise" has at least slightly different meaning than "compromise on". What do you think? I wonder what does the message of "compromise nothing" actually convey for english-speaking folks, as I understand this as "do not make breaches into any secured system".

Selected answer:no compromises
Explanation:
"Compromise nothing" doesn't work - in that sense, to compromise means to expose to expose to danger or suspicion, definition 4 in my reference. And "make compromise on nothing" is not correct English.

"Compromise on nothing" would be OK, meaning "make no concessions", definition 1. However. "no compromises" is shorter and more punchy.

neutral  Björn Vrooman: "manufacturer of ... mechanical parts"--similar to: "...that may compromise the integrity or quality of the part..." http://www.fwmachining.com/MFD/NDT.aspx -> not compromising integrity, safety...Not to say it's a great line, but it does work in context.

No Compromises, Use All Required Means and Material accordingly

Explanation:
With all due respect & Agreement 100% to my Fellow Translator Philgoddar's Explanation I could add that in the mechanical terminology of Car Industry or any other industry which deals with mechanical parts, some factories do Compromise the production integrity and security, by utilizing cheaper grade material than the required grade, which does impact the integrity of the Vehicle or any machine with Mechanical parts, which then causes unforeseen but imaginable problems which then results in recalls. a big set back in marketing and costly on both taxpayers , factory and insurance companies parts.

"compromise nothing\" is Wide range scope, whilst it is not a correct usage of the term Compromise.
No Compromises as my respected Peer Mr. Goddard, mentioned is shorter, complete and a well corresponding term for the project at hand.
