yes, have to keep increasing our commitments in line with the challenges we face Explanation: ...to have any chance of success -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2018-08-03 12:04:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Quite a few repetitions of "compounding" for each of the commitments to be undertaken. (compounding=building on what's there and increasing each time like compound interest in finance) https://www.thefreedictionary.com/compounding The challenges/threats we face are many and increasing in multiples/with additional factors all the time (5b of definition "To make worse by being an additional or intensifying factor") So, we have to keep responding to each of these in a commensurate way by compounding/augmenting our efforts each time/each field as required and keep adding to these efforts and combining them to have any success. Otherwise "we stand no chance" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 2 hrs (2018-08-04 13:36:05 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Glad to have helped |
