Selected answer:A wire/arial wire which connects to the devices arial
Explanation:
A wire/aerial (arial) wire which connects to the devices aerial port and loops it into another device, this is creating a loop (connection) between the two devices.

It is a correct term

Just a addition..

A loop aerial is different to a aerial loop.

In some of the images I put up there are "loop aerials" and not "aerial loops"..

An aerial loop is the wire connector connecting the two devices..as in my first sentence.
Sorry if they were misleading.

This image shows the aerial connected in "series" (Looped-thru) between the in-car unit and the iPod. The coax wire either side of the aerial is called the aerial loop.

loop aerial

Explanation:
I don't really know Dutch, but I believe you are saying that you have found this translation on Dutch sites but wonder if it fits here. Apologies if I have misunderstood you.

The term in English is loop aerial (or loop antenna), not aerial loop.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I think you are right that it must be "loop aerial" instead. The text I am translating has been so written badly that it can hardly bet ranslated at all - there are lots of phrases which don't make sense. Do you have more suggestions for me? See my other questions. Thanks.

Asker: so written badly = written so badly (see how it influences me too).

agree  Jennifer Levey: Yes - the complete phrase is usually: 'external AM loop aerial'.

neutral  Tony M: There is really nothing wrong with 'aerial loop' — it may be a fortuitous loop that acts as an aerial; there is nothing to say it is a loop aerial (= a specific type of aerial)

-> I think my suggestion is much more likely, but certainly more context would help, as is so often the case.

neutral  Jennifer Levey: None of this 'loop connection' stuff is relevant in the case of AM reception, which is the context of the question.
