Hi,
We asked a question on Chinese Kudoz (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1458752?pwd=BJDw&gr=y#answ_3408568... and the answerer confirmed the word "panel" which is what we thought.

This still does not make sense to me. Why would a company offer a 3 yr warranty on the panelling of a TV set when it's usually something inside it that goes wrong and causes the biggest problems?

It could quite possibly be correct but as I'm no expert in the field I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who knows more on the subject or who has heard of this kind of warranty before.

This is a total guess, but a suggestion nonetheless - is the tv you're talking about one of those flat screen plasma or LCD things? If so, I believe that the screen is referred to as a panel with these.
