See explanation below... Explanation: Elean, your question is perfectly clear, but unfortunately, these terms taken in isolation are not entirely explicit, so without more details, it's difficult to be sure. My feeling is that it is NOT as you surmise; I think this manufacturer is using the word 'control' to mean 'one of our control devices', and I think the long version of these names would PROBABLY be: lighting control device with interface OR for interfacing (but it doesn't say with what?) lighting control device incorporating power booster (it does say these have to be used when driving certain specific types of transformer) But as I say, it is difficult to be 100% sure with such abbreviated terminology -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 25 mins (2005-08-19 13:38:29 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Yes, if you click on the \'Technical information\' link on the left-hand side of your given page, the text there rather confirms my interpretation; they use \'control\' to mean \'lighting controller OR dimmer\', and it seems that these special models incorporate an interface ort a power booster as additional facilities. power booster must be for supplying more power the interface might be intended to interface with their IR remote control system, for example, though I admit this is not very clear to me. |
