English term or phrase:hay duct
1 x 30mm + plastic tensile wire between the main distribution board and hay duct
Difficult to give more precise context, since the string has been taken from a computer list of items and features used by a software tool to buils a detailed a bus order specification. I assume it refers to HVAC systems.
Finally managed to get the customer to explain. In the event, what was meant was "an air duct (air conditioning duct)". So my initial suspicions have been confirmed to an extent.
Incidentally, the "plastic tensile wire" should really be a piece of "plastic tube".
HAV ou even hav could be very close to "hay" for an OCR system, and Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation could be more fit in context.
My neighbors as farmers do have hay ducts in their barns but these are 60 cm diameter elbows that allow them to load into the barn the output of the harvesting machines
Looks an interesting idea; do you in your turn think there's any mileage in asking in a posting in Swedish-Polish, or another appropriate language pair?
The document is so badly written in places (apparently translated from Swedish) that anything is possible. A colleague, a native speaker of US English, on the Polish thread, suggested that a "pollen filter" might be referred to here. "Hay" -> hay-fever -> allergy. A pollen filter stops pollen from entering the interior, therefore is an anti-allergy feature, Is there any mileage in this?

going back to airmailrpl's contribution: Until the 1980s, London's taxis were by law required to carry 'a spare bale of hay' for consumption by the one-horse-power. At least, I think the law survived that long.
HA might, for example, be an in-house acronym for 'Heating & Air-con' — in an automotive context, one is mainly concerned with heating and cooling, rather than true air-conditioning as one might have in a building.
Thank you! There are a lot of strings referring to body systems, including heating, air-con and ventilation. And can you tell me what "HA" stands for in this case. I have a blank right now...
A hay duct is probably NOT what you have in your text - unless your vehicle is using an very alternative fuel - or is a one horsepower vehicle

I rather strongly suspect a typo here — and why do you suspect it is to do with HVAC? I'm wondering if in some way it might be a twisted error for HA duct (for example, a transcription or voice-recognition error).
Although there are indeed some mechanical elements that carry the proper name of their inventor (Ms. Hay?), this isn't one that I've personally come across.
