agree  u2me2them: I would be more inclined to go with 'bethak' but on the one hand we are asked of the 'activity room', then 'living room' or 'common room' but not dining room

  -> Dear Aburiaz, You must know that Urdu itself consists of different language,mainly Farsi,Arabi,Turki and Hindi,alongwith regional languages.So if it is not Farsi Word,it will be from these language.
