The answer to why not wait, is the reason you take all this trouble here for. I don't remember any asker, answering the need for more context anyway. The work involved if also no right answer deserved is the pleasure of it anyway.

Reference information:
Translators normally work only with complete sentences and an understanding of the full context of a term. Please provide at least one complete sentence in which the term occurs and any background information you have available.
Context: the parts of a discourse that surround a word or passage and can throw light on its meaning.

"You cannot translate words in isolation. Words get their meaning from how they are used in each situation - what we call their context. You must do a contextual translation. You should use a bilingual dictionary where one is available, but be careful when looking up translations for individual words. Dictionaries are useful, but there is very often more than one translation for individual words. The best dictionary is one which defines the word in its various contexts. For example, a simple English word like "skip" has several quite different meanings. It can mean any of the following, depending on the context: to move lightly, especially by jumping from one foot to another; to omit or leave something out; to deal with something quickly and without much thought; a large container for transporting building materials, especially waste. It can even be short for "skipper", the captain of a ship or sports team. You can see that using the wrong translation of "skip" could have some unfortunate results."

If you search "saving outstandings" in quotation marks in Google, you get only 3 hits, including this question. One source is French. I think this term is from a French translation into English. It's not a common English term.

You get a lot of "savings: outstandings" and where it's used as a stand-alone term, again there's a French bank involved. This term is clearly a bad translation from the French. What the asker should do is respond to requests for context.

No, it is not because it is a European system. It is because it is a BAD translation of a French term into English. You can't translate a BAD English term into good Turkish. I don't understand why people still keep trying to translate this term when the asker doesn't want to provide CONTEXT.

My advice to the asker is to post this question under English to French. Give the potential helpers some context and an explanation. Tell them you think the English term is a bad translation from the French and that you would like them to tell you what the proper English term might be.

agree  Yusef: Quite right, saving outstandings seems like the total savings of a savings institute, if I am not wrong. Usage at the net seems so. You are right but you get more if you look for "savings outstandings" French translation is given as "encours d'epargne"
