In eukaryotes, the basic transcription machinery is a ribosome-sized entity with two basic components, TFIID and the Pol II holoenzyme.

The eukaryotic transcription machinery is complex. It is a compact structure of different proteins that are bound at different positions on a DNA strand.

Zirea DNA dan ona eşlenik olan RNA dizisi oluşurken birbirinin tıpkısı kopyalamadan bahsetmek mümkün değildir. Sadece eşlenik kalıbı çıkar.
