Not to put too fine a point on it, these are the kind of wines that grab yoy by the nostrils! Their heady perfume jumps from the glass and is not exaggeration to say that you can often smell these wines long before your nose is anywhere near them.

Entonces, "Not to put too fine a point on it", lo interpreto como "para no ponerlo en términos muy complejos", pero esto no pega con lo coloquial que veine después, así que sugiero "hablando claramente"

no hay que ir con artificios ni cosas raras, ni dando vueltas, ni irse por los cerros de Úbeda. Sino que las cosas hay que decirlas tal y como son.
