necesito ir a (la) casa y cuidar a mi planta/mata de marihuana Explanation: that's the most common way of saying it - "planta de marihuana". But in some places (e.g. Colombia), "mata" is more common. More colloquially, planta/mata de maría, would be used. A plant you keep in a pot, in general terms, would be planta de interior. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 31 mins (2004-04-24 17:52:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.latinbusca.com/linkeos/de marihuana planta |

necesito ir a casa y ocuparme de mi mata de marihuana Explanation: It might very well mean to go tend to it in the sense of picking off some leaves or pruning it, and then smoking them. By the way, the etymology of marihuna is more likely to be from the nahuatl.
