English term or phrase: stewards
I am working on a pamphlet about donating money to a certain church. If the word "stewards" were used in a sentence I could get around it, but it is in a heading. There are two categories of giving for this particular fundraising effort. One is the Council of Stewards, and the section looks like this:

Council of Stewards
Bishop’s Circle $5,000 and over
Circle of Charity $2,500 - $4,999
Circle of Hope $1,000 - $2,499
Circle of Faith $500 - $999

The word "steward" here is not used in the sense of "mayordomo" or " administrador."

Please don't suggest these words.

The members have no duties or functions--they are just people who wish to donate more money than usual to the church. The word steward here means only that they care about the church and its finances, and are willing to donate a certain amount of money. I repeat--they manage nothing, they administrate nothing.

The other category (Caritas Communities) is for contributors of lesser amounts.

I had though of just making it a "Concejo de Donadores," but the other group also consists of people giving money, although less.

I'm looking for something that conveys the idea of major support.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

agree  Marjory Hord: I like it, was thinking of using benefactores for people who pay a membership for a group I'm with.

Explanation:
It has the same meaning as "steward" as in stewardship, and is often used in the case of foundations and charities.
