kimberly see explanation Explanation: Hi Kimberly. First names, or christian names, are a tough subject...for translation, I mean. Obviously, there are many that coincide, in many different languages: Peter; John; Margaret; Mary, etc. But then you get into indigenous dialects..and you get lost:-) How about having a brother called 'Tonatiuh' or a sister called 'Hermenegilda'? How would they translate into English? What I'm trying to say is that it's not always possible. For Kimberly, there isn't a translation. For Megan...it just might [repeat, 'might'] be a Celtic derivation of "Margaret"..though I can't be sure.
