Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
English term or phrase: Parent strain
This virus was adapted for growth by genetic reassortment between A/Singapore/GP1908/2015 wild type virus and A/Texas/1 High
Growth Parent (HGP) in Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) eggs.

The high yielding parent strain used was A/Texas/1

I have these two sentences in a paper with the title: Derivation of strain.
After the title, these two sentences appear. Then I have another title: Materils used.... and something completely different.

I hope you can help me, thanks
