I have just seen María Patricia's answer and I might be misleading with physical function. It is true that references to EHL function are quite common and yet I haven't found both acronyms togther elsewhere.

Ciertamente la lectura de PF como flexión plantar (plantar flexion) o flexores plantares (plantar flexors) es más que razonable, por mucho que inicialmente las descatase por referencias excesivamente ambiguas o generales (aunque en contraposición a EHL podría aludir concretamente a los flexores plantares de los dedos, incluido el flexor plantar largo y corto del primer dedo) y por echar de menos algún tipo de cópula que ligue ambos; pej. EHL & PF.
